A Comprehensive Guide to OSRS Druidic Ritual Quest

Nov-01-2023 PST

The Druidic Ritual quest in Old School RuneScape (OSRS) is a brief yet engaging adventure that revolves around assisting the Druids in restoring the circle in Varrock. This guide will walk you through the quest's requirements, objectives, and rewards, ensuring a smooth journey on your quest to help the Druids and unlock the Herblore skill.

Requirements for the OSRS Druidic Ritual Quest

Before embarking on the Druidic Ritual quest, you need to prepare a few items to ensure a seamless experience. The key requirement is to gather various raw meats, including raw bear, rat, beef, and chicken. Make sure to have these items in your inventory, and if necessary, gather some OSRS gold to acquire them.

Meeting Kaqemeex at The Stone Circle

Your journey begins by venturing to the stone circle located to the north of Taverley. Here, you'll meet Kaqemeex, the Druid who will set you on your path to assist the Druidic circle in Varrock. Engage in a conversation with Kaqemeex to learn about the Druids' plight and your role in helping them.

Heading South to Find Sanfew

Next, head back south towards an octagonal-shaped Herblore shop, where you'll encounter Sanfew, a key figure in the Druidic Ritual quest. Inform Sanfew that Kaqemeex sent you to aid in the ritual's purification of Varrock's stone circle. Sanfew will explain that you need to place raw rat meat, raw beef, raw chicken, and raw bear meat into the Cauldron of Thunder to advance in the quest.

For the convenience of acquiring these meats, consider visiting the Grand Exchange to exchange your OSRS gold for the required items. Alternatively, you can teleport to Varrock and journey eastwards. Around the mining areas, you'll find a giant rat to the southeast and a bear to the south. Continue south toward Lumbridge, where you can hunt a chicken and locate a cow in the nearby pasture. If you prefer an alternate route, you can find these creatures near the south entrance to Falador as well.

Another option is to purchase the four meat products from Rufus' Meat Emporium if you have unlocked the route to Canifis. Regardless of the method you choose, your next step is to head to the Cauldron of Thunder.

Enchanting the Meat at the Cauldron

The Cauldron of Thunder is located in Taverley Dungeon. Begin by journeying to the south of Taverley and descending the ladder into the dungeon. Proceed north, passing by the skeletons, until you reach a point where two suits of armor stand at level 19. You can either eliminate these suits of armor or move past them to find the cauldron.

Utilize the raw meats from your inventory and interact with the cauldron. This action will turn the meats blue and transform them into enchanted versions.

Returning with Enchanted Meat

After successfully enchanting the meats, exit the dungeon using the same path you took to enter it. Head back to Sanfew and hand over the enchanted meats to him. He will express his gratitude and then request that you speak to Kaqemeex once more. Kaqemeex will offer his thanks as well and provide valuable insights into the Herblore skill.

Rewards for Completing the OSRS Druidic Ritual Quest

Your efforts in completing the Druidic Ritual quest will be generously rewarded. You will earn four quest points, a significant boost to your questing progress. Furthermore, this quest will unlock the Herblore skill for you, giving you access to a new avenue of gameplay in OSRS. Additionally, you will gain 250 Herblore experience, which is a great start to your Herblore journey. Moreover, the completion of this quest will tick off a requirement for other quests like "Recruitment Drive," "Eadgar's Ruse," and "Jungle Potion." With these rewards in hand, you can continue your adventures in the world of OSRS with newfound knowledge and skills.
